A hidden gem on Broadway! Saffron offers authentic Persian dishes that are both flavorful and beautifully presented. I’ve visited multiple times and have always been impressed by the quality and taste. The complimentary saffron tea adds a lovely touch to the dining experience! Highly recommend trying the Koobideh Kabab and the Pistachio Cake for dessert!
Wonderful food, wonderful ambience - totally worthy of a cozy Saturday afternoon. We tried the Lamb Shank and Kababs which were outstanding in taste! Our host/server Nazila was extremely friendly and very hospitable! Highly recommended!
Cozy atmosphere with delicious food and wonderful service. I had the lamb shank with saffron rice, and it was so tender. Caramelized onion and garlic to make this dish absolutely divine. Nazila was my server, and she is so kind!
I recently had the pleasure of having lunch at Saffron Persian Kitchen and Bar, located at 1013 Broadway Ave, Saskatoon. I was part of a small group and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The food was excellent and arrived promptly. Although the beer on tap was not available, the restaurant offered a selection of canned options, allowing us to enjoy an O16 Copper while we waited. The environment was well-organized, and the washrooms were clean. Our server was attentive, providing us with options and suggestions, and ensuring our needs were met throughout our visit. We spent about an hour at the restaurant, and I am eager to return to try other items on the menu.
Saffron, it's a new gem in town. We really enjoyed the delicious aromatic food. Each dish had its own distinct taste. The Pistachio cake super tasty.
We had an amazing experience at this place with our Canadian friends! The traditional Persian foods are absolutely delicious and of the highest quality. The sweets, especially the fresh Persian baklava, and the saffron tea were simply divine. We enjoyed every bite! Not only is the food incredible, but the atmosphere was wonderful, and the staff is so polite, humble and kind to both customers and employees. We had such a pleasant time here and will definitely be coming back for more! Highly (100%) recommend!

Really delicious food, great presentation, friendly service. I haven't been to many Persian restaurants but this was a real treat. Lamb shank was excellent, and saffron tea a wonderful accompaniment to everything. Such deep, warming, comforting flavours, well cooked and presented. Only suggestion would be that the plates - while they look lovely - make it a little hard to eat. Otherwise incredible all around, looking forward to my next visit to Saskatoon and Saffron.
